You can find them and many sport bikes very inexpensively now. New '06 GSX-1000, Hayabusa, ZX-10, R1 are all trading new for $8k in my area. (I have not priced an OTD number, but the two dealers doing this said there are no hugh fees on top of that). I guess all areas are different though...

The Suzuki guy said 2007 Busa 200hp, 50 lbs lighter, single side exhaust, fall 2006 availability, will look closer to GSX-1000 style. Saw and sat on the ZX-14: 475 pounds dry, huge dual exhaust, stylized side fins look weird. Very comfortable, the cockpit looks sharp, headlights look good too.

On Long Island, NY they don't sell as well. Most dealers have '04's & and at least one '03 in stock.
