    Lift control gen 3

Lift control works very well. From setting 5 and below there is a low wheelie that is maintained with throttle wide open. Also cornering traction control works well; on corner exit you can pin the throttle wide open without the risk of a high side. Cornering ABS has no settings and is twicked...

Who has highest mileage Gen 3?

    22,500 km or 13,900 mi

Speedo reads high, we all know that, but does the odometer also? Look inside to find out.

Try this out. Engage the cruise control at say 140 Kph analog speedo indication. Apply brakes to disengage cruise control. Then press reume (top LHS grey button). You will get a reading of 132 Kph as target speed on the centerTFT display. So, at 140 Kph indicated on the analog speedo the real...

Wich mod you could say is the best one you have done to your Gen3?

Bar risers (MotoCNC +27mm), full Akrapovic exhaust (+12.5 RWHP -14 Kg), rear 190/55-17 tyre (+10mm height, more nimble, 308.6 kph real top speed), OEM clear touring screen (+40mm)

    Headlights adjustment struggle

I found the hole and managed to raise the beam, but now the high beam points to the sky, and when both beams are on, there is a dark gap between them. I will need to adjust them separatelly. Does anyone have a pic of the rear side of the headlight assembly?

    Headlights adjustment struggle

Help needed. Is there an easy way to adjust headlights? The manual shows in a very small scetch, the insertion of a screwdriver (does not indicate straight or Philips type or how long it is) in a hole, under the front fairing at an angle (!) to turn the adjuster. It seems that there is no guide...

Gen 3 OEM shift light HELP

White is the main shift color. You can adjust it to say 10000 rpm where the max HP is at, and set the sub yellow and green lower at 8500 and 7000 rpm where max torque is.

Post something interesting about your Gen 3

Bar ends are there for the weight, not the looks. Bolts extending from bar ends are dangerous in a crash for your hands and anything they can dig into. And speed reading comes from the front wheel ABS sensor, not transmission as in previous Gen1 and 2.

Brake fade after parked for 4 days

I started this thread on last October when I noticed the fault. The MC was replaced under warranty, and since then no problem (done 15000 km since then). The bIke was bought on May 2021 in Greece, so it is a European model.

    Street Tires for hayabusa 2022

Does the 200/55 fit on the OEM swingarm? Is there enough chain slack?

Do the throttle bodies start closing off in 6th gear, or near 186 mph?

To get max target speed you need to match it to max power which comes around 10000rpm. Therefore a longer gearing is needed. Rev limiter is a safeguard not a top speed limiter, although Suzuki is using it in sixth gear to honor the manufacturers agreement of 300kph top speed.

Sincere thanks to all, Busa driver no more

Enjoy your new Multi. I had a 1200S 2015 model that was real fun. I hope you don’t miss the arm ripping acceleration of the Busa.

    Launch control

At a stop with the engine running you press the start button and with the left select switch you select one of the three levels, 1 bar is 4000 rpm, 2 bars is 6000 rpm, 3 bars is 8000 rpm. You twist the throttle wide open and revs are kept at the level you chose. You release the clutch and there...

Is the NEW Hayabusa safe enough for a beginner?

A good beginner's bike is the SV650, easy to ride, relatively light, more than enough power (76HP), does the quarter mile in 11.4 sec, has a top speed of 130mph, very satisfying on B roads, has 58 mpg, is very cheap new or used, and the engine is buletproof. Sounds like a Ducati with a free can...
