Introducing the Low Budget Bagger.. pics

One more question Doyle when you put the 18 tooth sprocket on did you have to modify the sprocket cover and also is the stock chain long enough? Thanks for all the info I have almost 40,000 miles touring on my 04 using soft luggage and all stock motor. Works well but the taller gearing would be...

Introducing the Low Budget Bagger.. pics

Looking at your mods I notice you are running 18-40 gearing. How does that work for touring and does it help your gas mileage? Also I like the beetle bags do they have enough room in them?

    Biketoberfest Daytona

Hey 8Daytona8 in the picture you posted it is in the very top on an old runway they dont use anymore. To get there you look for the Spirling sports complex road off of 92. They have signs up and some flags at the entrance to the road. I plan to be there tomorrow (Sunday) sometime before noon...

    conti roadattacks

I just got back from Deals Gap and over 1900 miles on a set and they work Great!! For street rubber they stick really well. Seem to be plenty of tread left on em too. I would say at least 4000 miles out of the rear. I will buy another set when these are gone!! I like them as well or better than...

    Friends Father Down on Motorcycle

I should say I was very lucky when I had a Heart Attack while rideing my Busa! Had only had it 4 days when I was struck. My arm started hurting so bad I thought I had injured it with the bike. I told my riding buddy's we need to stop at the next store about a mile away. Made it there ok thank...

    Which seat is most comfortable??????

I got a Tobin a month and a half ago and tried it for a while and didn't really care for it. I tried it on my girlfriends Busa which has Heli-Bars and a 1 1/4 Genmar Riser on it, and it felt great with the extra height from the risers. So this week I ordered some 1 1/4 Reapers to go with my...

    Tobin seats vs suzuki gel

There is a thin layer of foam on the back of the cover material Tobin uses, Im not sure if it is higher density or not. Tim the Pashnit guy uses his Busa to lead sport tours with the Tobin seat and he seems to like it from what I have read anyway.

    Tobin seats vs suzuki gel

I've had a Tobin for about a month now. It seems pretty good but I havent rode much more than a 100 miles or so on it at one time. It does seem to be good on the butt but my hips bother me a little more than they did with the stock seat. I'm 5'6"-5'7" and it is tighter on my legs. May have to...

    Tobin seats

I had Tobin do my seat a couple of weeks ago and have only put a couple hundred miles on it. Seems to work pretty good but my hips did feel a little sore after a 120 mile ride. I think they take a little getting used to but once you do they must work pretty good. Anybody else see it that way...

    No new busa for 07

+1 I talked to my local dealer and he pretty much said the same thing. He is a Suzuki & Kawasaki dealer and Busa's sell 25 to 1 better than the kaw's. He expects the 14 to do a little better but the Busa will still out sell it.

Which saddle bags are best for us?

Hey Rhythm where did you buy the Bagster tank cover from? I like the looks of that and the protection it offers.
