If i could have ridden a Busa before buying one the color would not have been a issue. I would have bought the first one i found!! Buy the bike or forever dream about shifting at 10,000 rpms. You only live once!
OEM 17:40 530 chain,112 links.
Is a 16:42 about the same as a 17:44 ?
What length chain is needed for the 17:44 combo?
Where can i order a sprocket on line?
Thanks..
lANTABUSA, I am not a RF tech. The AVL on the unit is round not an antenna. They claim this works,I am just putting in my .02 of what i have been told. This could be BS,just trying to help a brother.
Ambush, the tuna can was used for its size and it is metal. The can fits over the AVL just right. I am not sure who started this stealth trick.Sometimes our radios will not work in metal buildings, maybe this gave someone the idea.
Cool Stephen, I will e-mail you. I have not seen another Busa in the area yet. Today I went for a ride through Alva. I like to ride in south Ft. Myers, because I know all the cops.....hehehehe
I am a Firefighter in Fort Myers FL. IAFF local 1826. Our E.M.S. has the AVL installed on there units. If you place a TUNA CAN over the AVL,it will not work.Does Big Brother like tuna?
I saw a blue one and two red in Jacksonville FL. last week. Ft. Pierce Fl. (where i bought mine) had a blue with a pipe and rear fender mod.FT.Pierce # 561-461-1441.I paid 11550.00 out the door.
My last bike was a 95 V-MAX.The bike is comfortable and would be great on a trip. You have to fuel up every 100 miles.I ran a 7.3 sec 1/8 mile @95mph with a street tire.My buddy bought the bike from me and we went for a ride on mon.If i shift the busa at 5500 the v-max does not get to far away...
