    I am going Turbo..and..

Use the APE heavy duty clutch springs instead of the MCX springs. They are $50 and I've heard they are very good. My clutch slipped pretty bad on the stock spring when I went turbo.

    Rear Spring

Look on the race tech site. I believe the stock spring rate is 13.1 .

Anyone using Scotts re-usable oil filter?

I put one on my Busa after my second oil change at 1000 miles. The micron size of the filter isn't as fine as paper filters, but it's close. I like it because it has a built in magnet to catch ferrous particles and you can inspect the filter at each oil change without the hassle of cutting the...

    0W Synthetic oil

O and 5 weight oils usually have friction modifiers, which can affect wet clutches. Look on the bottle by the oil rating and if it says enery conserving, I wouldn't use it. <!--EDIT|NavyBusa Reason for Edit: None given...|1130305557 -->

    BMC race filter

I just picked up a used BMC race filter for my Busa. I have no reason to doubt the person I bought it from, but after looking the filter over very thoroughly, I could find no part numbers or markings. So my question is, How do you distsinguish a street version filter from the race version...

    Aluminum fan?

After market single wall exhaust get a lot hotter than the stock system. I've heard that the plastic blades will start to melt and lose their shape. If you live in a warm climate or ride in a lot of stop and go traffic, its not a bad idea to put one on while you have it apart. I have one waiting...

    Clutch Mod

Thanks for the info. I found a guy here in Hawaii that had a spare one and I'm going to have it welded up. I work at a Naval shipyard and have access to nuclear welders, so the quality should be good. I'll chuck it up in a lathe after its welded and do a run out check to ensure it is straight...

    Clutch Mod

Just wondering if any of you have welded up your own clutch hub like the one Brock sells. I have access to quality welders, but I'm wondering if their is any special alignment or welding procedures require. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

    Question about exhaust change

I think it can be remapped with the teka box? But I'd have to pay the dealer or shop to do that. I'll probably wait until I have the cash for the PC before the install. I am worried about doing damage if its running lean from the pipe.

    Question about exhaust change

I just picked up a used Ti Force system and I don't have a power commander yet. Since I'm doing the low buck approach to mods, I won't have the cash to get the PC for awhile. Will I get any benefit of installing the pipe without the PC? or should I wait until i get the power commander and a new map.
