I ended up with a klipsh system with mid range reciever, but this was my original midrange price system. It's on the high side of your 600 dollars but hey, what mod ever coming in cheaper than your budget :whistle: Good luck!!

I 2nd the geza, no tie downs scratching or blowing against the paint. It was wet for a long time after a downpour, but it kept the bike from being drenched.

I went with corbins for the seating, front and back with back rest. Not sure on the shorter comfort level, but they are for sale in the classifieds. ZG touring shield was one of the better additions also.

I've got a used one, 5000k miles on it, in the classifieds. Comes with corbin seats :cheerleader:

At least 9 rears and at least 5 fronts. It's DOA at 36k miles now, but definately a tire eater at it's prime.

Slips in 2nd gear I bet. Common problem in above 8k rpm but will eventually get lower in the rpms. From what has been posted before, 750$ in parts alone for a transmision rebuild and about 1500$ for a good shop to do it. Undercut gears will save future issues of this happening. If you got it...

Gen II is definately winning, I wandered thru a Harley dealer today. All the mags are raving about the xr 1200, interesting bike, but feels like a dirt bike the seat is way high. The night rod did feel nice though. Suzuki / Kawi dealer was next. All the 600's and 1000's felt like a brick...
