The small AR on the turbine side will spool quicker while sacrificing top end potential. A larger AR will spool later in the day but make more power up top. Going to a larger AR will make less HP with low revs.
You may want to consider a GT30r or any good bearing turbo (typically billets spool...
Did you flash the ECU with EE for gear map in N? This will dump more fuel in the motor to spool the turbo with no load with the clutch in. Neutral map (clutch in) trims fuel and will take longer to get into boost when launched.
Good luck

I always really liked the Andy Griffith show. That being said he was legendary for being a **** to his fans and staff. There was an episode where his hand was bandaged after breaking it. He broke it from punching a wall in a rage at someone on his staff and was often known to yell in tirades...
This looks surprisingly like R.C.W.'s build. On that note it looks like his shop too....LOL!
I think the concept is a fantastic idea, great way to gain some CD% without hand building fairings. Truth be known I have always wanted to put a V2 in a busa just to have fun on. I could only imagine...
This is because the holes were welded up in the port. This is a better method of blocking as the holes in the port cause turbulence. This would also mean there is a 99% chance the head was ported at the same time.
If they were not welded, and you tried to run it without blockoffs it would be...
Marine can flute a gen I crank with gen II journal flutes. (*My gen I crank)
On that note Gen II main bearings alone will significantly improve rod oiling over Gen I. I used to drill an additional hole in my shells.....Suzuki made it much easier.
The amount of material removed and location...
That video was full of **** for a few reasons......I wont get into all of them. (Note, I own supercharged and turbo'ed vehicles)
But....
It says an advantage of turbos is the fact that it doesnt have parasitic losses because its using spent energy???? Well, thats BS, it takes a significant...
I use Spiegler lines AND floating rotors with a Brembo radial master. From 100mph I can stop about 20' less then a busa with OEM fronts. For me it was the best mod I have ever done, well worth the money and recommend everyone with a busa to do the same.

A common misconception about turbos is that they are spooled by the exhaust gas 'flow' (well, they are some....but not much) but primarily due to the thermal dynamics of the hot gasses. The reason you get performance increases with header raps and or ceramic coatings is because they dissipate...
Today I drilled out the restrictor threads (smooth), knocked down the walls to the restrictor plug hole and radiused the oil filter pipe discharge.

-You ran a leakdown on the motor before tearing into it?
-I personally do not recommend using the OEM codes to determine bearing size, not to mention if the rods were not labeled correctly when removed. Use a bore gauge and mic and do the math, plasti is OK for confirmations only (Ever...
Pack some JB weld in the crack and call it a day.
~JH
All joking aside as long as the geometry of the triple is not compromised that is not hard to fix. The weld should be ground out a minimum of 1" past the crack and re-welded.
Good luck....
My turbo motor let go last year at SpeedWeek (badly). I have a new base motor I am about to start building but its been 4 years sense I built a motor so I am a little rusty.
I have a few questions that can not find answers....or conflicting answers that I would like cleared up.
1. The...
