Probably not a clutch issue...I'm having the same problem with my '04. Mechanic thought it was the clutch and changed it out, guess what, problem still exist. So know he thinks there's a problem with 2nd gear, personally I think it's an electrical issue rather than a mechanical one

Is he getting a good deal on new bikes, cause 9800 for a used bike is ridiculous. I was in the market for a new 1k but found the Busa for 9 so I had to go for it. But IMHO for those prices, if they are not new, I'd pass on both.

Was that in 4th or 5th gear. I went from an F4 to the Beast. My F4 would be high in the rpms, but the Beast had me smiling in my helmet when I hit 170 in 5th gear. I was whoa shiat, and I've still got 1 more gear!"

I've never done this on my Busa (because I want to keep the underside clean) but on my F4 I'd just do a burn out and lean the bike a little to get the edges - but if you have the patience, just give it about 150 miles and you should be good

Hmm, favorite complaint - not sure if it's my favorite, but seems like every import with a coffee can exhaust wants to challenge me - and I'm like dude - we've got the same size engine and I'm about 2000+lbs lighter than you - ever heard of power to weight ratio. Then there are the chicken heads...

Went from an HJC, to KBC to Shoei - of the 3 the HJC was the loudest and had the least amount of cushion. Shop around and fit test a few cause they all fit a lil different.

I didn't see any mention in any of the articles as to where the HP was measured.  I'm assuming that it was crankshaft and not the rear wheel. 197hp does sound impressive, but I'm waiting for the dyno numbers to tell me how much of that I can really use - I'm guessing it's going to lose about 7%...

About a year ago on the Busa, cop pulled me over for doing 85 in 65 - we talked about the Busa for a minute and he stated that he knew the bike was a beast and could do 200 in a matter of seconds, so he appreciated the fact that I didn't run - so he just told me to slow it down a bit. I thought...

Hell I probably couldn't do that course on a bicycle, not to mention the busa. I got so lost watching, I was wondering "did he end at the same place he started."

Granted there will be a cover for it, whoever in that group of designers that decided to keep the bannana seat on such a bike should be fired. Are there any good aftermarket bannana seats, and I guess you won't be able to get a gel seat for it either.

Got me too - it even got me the 2nd time I watched Heart was still pounding after reading all the post and responding. Every one who gets a license cage, bike, CDL whatever should have to watch something like this.

Wow - that's a big box for such a small chip - Maybe the bigger the box, the more HP gain, probably something to do with volume of air and electric current mixture. My suggestion, stick to whats been proven. I'd hate to buy a $20 chip that ends up costing hundreds in repairs.

Man, I love this board - just got off the phone with Logan and he says he should be able to get them to my door for under 1000. He's going to double check for me and let me know tomorrow. Damn, I can hear them already - good lookin out fellas.

Has anyone seen a better price than 1040 for the Dual Hi-Mount Carbon HMF full exhaust? This is the best price I've seen and I started to order, but wanted to double check with the board 1st.
