Yes, my Busa died. But, it was a registered organ donor. So, the medical bills are being covered and dozens of other Busas are getting to live longer and more beautifully in Singapore, Hawaii, NY, NC, MS....RIP Busa.
Everyone needs to understand I have a lot of costs to attempt to recoup here. IMHO selling the bike in the smallest pieces gives me the best shot at getting back to zero from -$7000 to -$7500. The original head is not the problem. It's in the rod/piston/bearing from #1 or the crank. I hate...
If that microsecond of time allows the valves to close, then that's something. It's desperation, but it's a relatively quick change. Next time the engine is dropped, it's dropped for good.
Yeah, but we run into a dead end at the case. We don't have the tools and I don't have the cash to just keep going forever. I think the engine has come out 4 times now in 3 months. If we knew exactly what the issue was, and exactly how to fix it, and it was the piston head, and not the...
Guess once Dehning's head is put on we'll know if we have a valve guide or spring problem, or a piston problem. I'm ready for a resolution, one way or the other. :drama:
I am new to the Busa family. I have to say, I may be thinking they are a step above the Jeep family. I don't know any Jeeper that would give me a head, LOL. I have to get this handled quick. Looks like I leave for Alabama on Sunday for a month. Those peoples problems put mine in proper...
A local guy saw my Craigslist post and offered me a 2003 head off his bike that he replaced. :cheerleader: Not only a super nice guy, but damn.........
I just posted a Craigslist ad. Time to begin turning this project into a profit center. If anyone sees anything they like or want speak up. Lots of custom stuff. Power Commander III, Alien Eyes custom LED tail with LED flashers, mirrors are custom with Kanji etched into glass that flashes...
I had bearings blow apart at 100mph on my GSXR750, on the FL turnpike, 100 miles from the truck in Orlando. Had to bring the bike all the way back to TX and it never moved again. So all this is cool.
