I dont think they trap in the 170s, Bugatti Veyrons dont and they make around 1200hp and can do about 9.9 @150. Maybe those cars are set up for drag racing though, I dont know too much about them, but Roll ons with cars like that though is a different story, they will smoke about any bike...

Im convinced, like you said, sounds like a cute Idea, but I have never actually seen/use one in person. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle, haha. Thats probably why they can claim they run cooler, cuz they aint doing anything to make heat. Thank You for showing me the light :bowdown:

Have you ever seen a turbo off the header, under full boost, at high rpm (I know you have, just stating the obvious). They glow red like molten lava. Yes that does seem to me like that would heat the charge. No they dont glow when the turbo is 4+ feet of tubing down the exhaust line. My turbo...

They actually run cooler as the exhaust gases have cooled way down if not right off the header. There is a company that makes rear mounted turbos for cars, and the turbos are tuned differently than ones that run right off the header as they can not take advantage of the higher speed hot gases...

I have a quick question on water/meth injection setups. Are they safe for widebands? Also, My current afr under boost is in the low 11s. I was wondering if this will change by adding water/meth injection or should I change the AFR to something else. I dont know if it matters, my bike is an 02...

I swapped my 00 bike over to a 05 ECU. All you need is to get the 02-07 stator, and a 02-07 ECU. Then you swap some pins in the ecu connector, and thats all you need to do. :beerchug:

I read on another post that it was possible to swap some of the pins from either the trigger or the ecu so a harness swap wasnt required. If that is true I would like to do this mod, if I have to replace the whole harness, I am not going to bother. I just want to be able to use the PC5 auto...

I am new to the busa scene and have recently picked up a 00 busa. I tried searching but could not find a step by step showing how2/parts needed to swap my 00 ecu for an 02 and up ecu. If anybody knows the exact parts and steps on doing this switch, I would greatly appreciate it. :beerchug:
