Well, the clutch plates being dry seems to have been the problem. I soaked them all for about 5 minutes in oil and took a scotch-brite pad to the steels, and she grabs hard now. I forgot how quick she accelerates. :beerchug: Thanks for the help!

Hmm. Interesting point. When the new clutch slave was sent to me, the piston was out just a little bit. Maybe 1/8" or so. I didn't bottom it out before I put the thing together and started bleeding the clutch. If what I'm doing now doesn't do the trick, I"ll try what you suggest. Thanks!

I've had my '03 since August. It's sitting in the garage right now with 3950 miles on it. The part that number doesn't tell you is that the first 3000 miles were put on in the first 30 days I had it. Dropped it off for the first service at 29 days. It still had the paper tag on it and 3089...

I average 41-42 mpg with mine. I usually get 195-200 miles before the reserve light hits.
