The emergency flashers on my 2022 work so it’s not the bulb. The left turn signal works fine but not the right.

I’ve read that extensions are fine for the street, not for drag racing which I have no plans to do.
What are your thoughts?
I have a 2022 and ever since I did a tail tidy the rear tire looks pushed in too far under the tail.
To cure this I’m thinking about a 4 inch stretch using a bolt-on extension kit.
I only ride street so this is for looks only.
Will this drastically change the handling?

Just cut the old ones off and slip on the new ones with hairspray or WD40?
Should special care be taken on the throttle side?
Why do some brands come in two lengths (119 mm and 123 mm)?
