    oh, covered parking at the cop shop. Glad I don't commute in traffic I don't know how you guys do it. splitting lanes makes me nervouse as hell.

    2001 stocker. AGV jacket SIDI strada's for the warm stuff. First gear suit for cold stuff Widder vest and gloves for the really cold stuff. I carry a back pack with essentials for work + water. 45 mi one way. all desert two lane between hwy 14 and 395. skiier traffic is pure hell in the winter...

    New tire questions

    Holy crap what a commute! I ride about 100 per day and run the 56's which I like. have run the 208's but they seem to wear a bit faster. I get 4000 about on the rear 10,000 for the front. when it gets hot the rear really melts off especially when at speed. I just keep replacing them. don't know...

    Darn! need sprocket and chain swap! sprocket specialist has them on the way but it's costing me miles, and the weathers been great too. Anyone run an EK chain? gonna try one this time.

    Widder heated gloves

    just bought a widder vest and gloves. put them under a first gear suit and ride 45 mins home in 30-40 deg weather. i will never ride cold again. about 200 bucks for both with thermo and plug ins at parts 411.

    after 20+ years of freezing my ass off duirng the winter here in Ridgecrest I bought a Widder electric vest and gloves holy smokes! 5 min install! make sure you figure out the polarity BEFORE you use it. I learned the hard way and the vest will get hot enough to brand you. will ride home tonight...
