    What needs to happen for the low beam is remove the spade connectors from the HID kit connector. If you look close there should be like a small kinda hook tab on the spades. Just push that down gently and the spade should slide out. Then you can slide them into the factory harness. Use some...

    Like most young people, we like to do stuff the hardway untill we learn our leason. My guess is this will be your sons last time dealing with these shoddy folks at cyclewerks. And I hope he has good luck with the bike. Looks pretty good for that era.

    where should i put my ballast for my hid

    I originally put mine on the right duct. But after some beers decided everything will be easier if all the components are mounted in the front fairing. Zip ties and velcro seem to work the best. Unless you have the time and patience to fab up some brackets.
