Thousands of busa maps up here

You can't argue against a prophet (neither I have the appetite to participate in non civil discussions of any kind) , so I will leave you to your opinion. In short, you are absolutely right! :)

You can also get a perfect tune with autotune, but it takes away business from tuners...

Thousands of busa maps up here

...or get a pcv with autotune and do it yourself on the road. The person who knows very well how to tune cannot blow enough air on the intakes to replicate ram-air effect anyway...

    Small air box mod

How about the rest? Fuel map, Lamda active?

JUst ordered the Danmoto CF Gp slip ons $220 shipped

I had them on my 05. They definitely need a map, fueling becomes a bit lean in areas, with a hollow feeling and the loss of torque is noticeable. On the plus side, they are featherweight, but nothing you notice on the street when the bike starts moving. On the track maybe.... As soon as I put...

    2006 Dynojet numbers!

I would be very suspicious of a dyno tuner who says he tunes my bike without having done the pair valve mod. It is not uncommon for 'tuners' in your island to upload maps from powercommander site and call it a day. What have you done with the Lamdas?

    Type of fork oil

Gen1 busa here, 90kgs of rider weight, bike is stock, apart from gen2 rear shock. Upgraded forks with 1.0 springs and 10W oil. Works perfect.

Gen 2 rear shock on Gen 1

I have a genII shock on my stock genI bike and have it on the stock genII settings. 30mm of static sag is humongous, don't you think? My static sag is about 10mm.

GEN 2 TI FORCE 4-2-1-2 vs. STOCK

POWERHOUSE, while in the charts posted above I see that both hp and torque numbers are inflated by the same percentage, the torque and hp curves cross at different rpm. How is that so?

    190-50 and 190-55

Went to a 190/55 tyre (michelin pilot power 3) from a 190/50 M5. Plain fantastic change. Contrary to common belief, you get the feeling of added stability all over, except maybe when you are totally vertical. In turns, its a different world, seems you can bank endlessly without running out of...

    jinkster suspension feel gooood

In any case, an alternative setup I am using and transforms the handling of the bike, is Rear barely any static sag at all, when the bike supports its own weight (which is about 5mm). compression -5 turns rebound -8 (or -7) turns Front about 50mm static sag (with rider) middle...

Just did the small airbox mod

I have a totally stock 05 and first is just as useless with 17/42 gearing. Have been debating myself the mod, but as I understand it makes no sense without efi tuning.

    Sprockets

shorter gearing does not always ensure faster acceleration...wheel spin and prone to do wheelies being the main reasons.

Anyone Selling A Gen2 Rear Shock and Spring Assembly?

I think the GSXR rear shock is actually stiffer than the busa due to different linkage geometry. One way to find out is to search what the spring rate of the thou is. The gen2 busa has about 14.5kg/mm, if I remember well. Edit...I was wrong. It seems the 1000 spring is 8.1 kg/mm That means...
