    Who's got reflectors????

But not too out of sight. Or at least know where it is. I was stopped at a check point, and I just assumed my then new Busa had the inspection on the fork, P.O couldn't find it at first. It was tucked way up high so you had to bend way down to see it. The next sticker came down a few inches.

    A momentary lapse of judgement...

Like any bike, Wing or Busa, it's a matter of getting used to. When I got my Wing in '02, coming off a Japanese Harley clone, the Wing felt a little funky at first, but after a little time and miles, I got that "Kung Fu" one-with-the-bike feeling and never looked back. When I turned 50, I got...

Thanks guys, you saved me $2000

When I was living in a apartment, several guys on this board said go State Farm for Busa Insurance, add it to your home owners policy. Got a house recently, and remembering the recommendation, went to State Farm, not only did they knock off $1100 the Busa, they knocked off $250 off the Wing...

    Okay, that was weird

After a couple hours of burning the back roads, I roar up an interstate entrance ramp and settle down in the right and keep pace with traffic. After a couple minutes, I get a bit of tunnel vision and I'm focused on the car several yards ahead of me when I hear "Whooop!!!" I look to my left and...

    Where is everyone From????

Hmm . . . I'm going to be a smart aleck. When I want to know where everyone is from I look to the left of the post and read the last line where it says location.

    Houston here I come!

I miss the Houston I grew up in, but not much of that exists anymore. Lot more motorcycle worthy scenery in Hudson Valley, Connecticut area than the Houston flatlands. I ride the warmest days of winter with no snow or ice, not too bad on the protected Goldwing. See how it goes on the Busa...

I never had this happen before

I have one of those unfortunately shaped heads, the circumference of the top of my head is one size, and my long thin face is another. Most helmets are designed to fit roundish heads for some reason.

I never had this happen before

Out riding the busa after it's 600 mile maintenance, cracked it up to 8K a couple times, at 130 indicated, my helmets wants take my head off--I guess I supposed to duck down around this time. Anyway, after my backroad buffetting, I coming home on an interestate, doing interstate speeds, when...

    Houston here I come!

Good thing you're missing August, summers are tough down there, winters are good though. Spent the first 38 years of my life down there, 23 years of motorcycling.

    Speedometer

Yesterday I was coming into a work zone with a radar sign. 45 down to 30, the speedo was right on.

    Tank slappers, how common?

I guess I experienced severe wobble, the handlebars were whipping side to side like a dog drying itself, I didn't hang onto them as so much as kept my hands on them in case it straigthend up. I came out of a 20 mph corner and goosed may up to 45 mph when the bronco started to bucking from side...

    Busa's Throttle Response

I do the samething tooling around at constant speed, sort of a manual cruise control.

    Tank slappers, how common?

A couple years ago on my Goldwing, I came out of a tight curve that was wet from water dripping down from an overpass, and goosed the throttle to merge into traffic when I experience my first--and hopefully my last--tank slapper. Scared the bejesus out of me, I basically did nothing but ease...

    What was Your First Bike?

69 Honda Scrambler 90 Before I got my license, I walked it down to the end of the block where there was this gigantic church parking lot. I put a 100 miles on that sucker, going round and round and round.

    my impressions of the busa

Busa is my first sport bike, Goldwing my other bike. The Busa rides as smoothly as the Wing, shifts better.
