What is everyone's second hobby or time consumer?

Downhill riding and MMA...and my wife surprised me with a rescue pitbull which takes up my time but he is amazing!

China Levers vs OEM - Something to think about...

I had a set of the China levers and they kept my brake light on the entire time so, I tried adjusting them with no luck and removed them for some JPA levers. However, my friend has the same Chinese levers on his Busa and they work perfectly so, it seems it is a tolerance issue. I will say that...

My Hayabusa review: From 600cc to 1300cc.

The busa is far more capable in turns than most realize. I actually get a kick out of people's reactions when we hit the twisties and I leave them behind. The typical response is...I never knew a Busa could corner like that. I will say that late braking is a bit tricky since the weight dows...

Just went down for the first time

+1 to this! They do not look bad, you are better off getting them repaired. Good to hear you are ok!

Jay Leno on the New H2 video!

I have to hand it Kawasaki, they did an amazing job with the H2 and the H2R. If I could keep myself from jail I would pick up an H2 :)

    How to handle a crash

Virginia sucks! I hate it here! I do eventually plan on moving. Everyone in this state does not care for bikes either and I think drivers swear by texting while driving too! Riding here is like going into battle, when I raced I was far more relaxed than ever riding on the street.

    How to handle a crash

Agreed, if another car is involved I think having a police report is important especially when it comes to legal protection. If it is a solo incident, if I am ok enough to get up, I would leave the police out of it. In Virginia, if you have a solo crash you will be written a ticket whether or...

    How to handle a crash

On the street...ANY crash I would not leave until the police show up to file a report if another vehicle is involved. If you crash alone then I would keep the police out of it since you will be written up for losing control.

    Interesting bike performance numbers

A friend I used to race with has a 1098SP and that bike is a beast. The torque can make things interesting however, since the bike has nearly 0 lag, I could see it posting fast times with a good rider. From a roll, the Hayabusa has no problems with it but from a stop, the Ducati is a bike you do...

    Talk me out of it!!

If that is what you really want, I would say do it! Personally, I love the Busa for the street since the sportbikes are far more fun on the track. However, that's a matter of opinion! They are of course two entirely different bikes so really, go with the bike you will enjoy the most. If you...

    Nervous but excited new owner.

Congratulations! As others have stated, look over the bike and address the "known" issues and check over all the lines/connections/bolts, etc just to be on the safe side. Also, I would start by replacing plugs, check the valves, flush the coolant, brake fluid, and replace the brake lines/pads...

    Gas prices

Oil companies have been milking us for years...it is about time it adjusts down from the speculative prices. I plan on enjoying it until the next fabricated story comes out to raise them back up.
