well it took a while but i got a bit of a result , Avon wouldnt comment on their findings but offered 20% off my next set of boots ..

out of interest what year is the busa , the early ones with external pumps (99-2000) suffered with dirty filters and screens , if you do a search you will find some good info on stripping and cleaning them
sounds like a fuel problem , like your disturbing dirt in the tank or pump , suggest you drain and clean out the fuel system , you could of course stop pulling wheelies :laugh::laugh::laugh:
I did try risers on it but to be honest after having the bike for 7 years it just didnt feel the same if that makes sense , all that sporty feeling disappeared . hopefully one day I will get another but in the mean time the fz means I can keep riding ,

Well after a great deal of thought i reluctantly decided to sell my 99 , It sold no problem for reasonable money , It had to go as I could only ride It for about 40 -50 mins before needing a rest after a back problem 3 years ago . I have now purchased an 06 Yamaha fz1 witch is some what kinder...
Check the rotors are running dead central in the calipers , i once refitted the front wheel on my gen one and had a similar issue .
Turns out the right hand rotor was not running dead centre through the caliper so the outer pad was binding slightly causing the rotor to over heat . so it turned...
