It’s been some time but just to update you guys it’s was thin black ground it was tucked behind battery box so I never noticed it was burned out thought I looked over it well but I think it fried when my stator went up

So today I find that the stator wire plug is totally fried so I am guessing this may be my issue

Looking for a reasonably priced Bazzaz for my Gen2

I did have the fuel pump connected when I tried the ground wire

I only get keyed power when the tank was touching frame and also when I ran the jumper from fuel pump ground

Running my own ground from fuel pump shouldn’t hurt anything right?? Or new pump

Yea everything came on

Nothing I tried that because I thought the battery ground may have been bad

I was asking does the fuel pump have to be plugged in for the entire bike to power up dash not the fuel pump itself

Yes when I put jumper wire on fuel pump ground nut and touch a grounding spot I get power

Thanks man I think this fuel pump ground may be the culprit

So @Yellow09 i was going over so of the advice you guys gave me and came across this! So my question to you could my fuel pump ground have went bad because running a wire from the ground on the tank to the motor ground she came to life so I’m thinking fuel pump ground could be fried

Does the fuel pump connector have to be plugged in to get power to your bike??
