With the Busa I find the Pilot Power Roads to be a good compromise for longevity and handeling. I like the "V" profile which makes for a quicker turn in on a big and heavy bike. The PP Roads will spin up in wet weather more so than the regular PP's. I want to try the Road 2CT's next. My second...
Velcro on a stem stand holds amazingly well. Someone makes a velcro strap for added security, I can't remember who. You can also buy a waterproof plastic case for the Bel and Escort but a sandwich bag and rubber band works well too.
I'm sure after some magazine comporos to the 08 busa and Zx-14 there will be some tweaks, probable some of those you mentioned and maybe even some in the hp dept.
After reading up on the 08 ZX-10R I am very impressed with Kawis desire to go the extra mile. Some of these things listed were...

The guage either had air in the bottom under the fluid or the adjustment screw at the bottom of the Motion Pro was adjusted the wrong direction.
The fluid won't hurt the...
On some tight esses the busa will be much tougher to go really fast. That extra 100+ pounds means heavier steering, more front end dive and much harder on the brakes. On the Cherohala Skyway the busa will do fine but take it to the dragon and a lighter less powerful bike will win out with the...
