    Titanium knee sliders

Does any know an internet site where I can buy titanium knee sliders? If anybody has seen them around I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

Pros and cons Busa vs. R1

I own both a Busa (2000) and an R1 (2003). If you ride mainly on the road, get the Busa, if you ride mainly on the track, get the R1. Both are great bikes, but the R1 is no match for the Busa on the road when it comes to speed, general handling and comfort. So few public roads give the R1 the...

    Tire question.....

My last two rears I've got 460 miles out of each of them...but that's on the track. The front has been on there for about 2500 miles and it's hardly worn ay all.

    Mixing tires

For the most part I don't think it matters, I've certainly done it. But some tyres, such as the Pirelli Diablos, claim to have a tread pattern that is specificlly designed to have a matching front and rear tyre so that the front tyre disperses the water correctly for a section of the rear that...

    Which Tire?

That depends on what you want out of the tyre mate. Some tyres are made for premium wear, some are made for premium grip, others are made to a price. And don't forget that all bikes are made to come out of the factory at a price that they will be bought by the market...that's why stock...

A little history of the Hayabusa

In 2000, under threats from authorities in Germany and other countries to ban the sale of such bikes, a voluntary agreement was reached between the four Japanese manufacturers to limit the speed of bikes they produced to 300 kph...hence the speed restrictors placed on 2001 and subsequent models...

    Can You See the Gauges?

I can only add more weight to the argument put forward. Zero Gravity double bubble is the way to go...I'm 6'3" and now I can see the gauges no problem when I am in a fully upright position. Reduces wind blast on your body too...best money I ever spent on the Busa. I was worried that it would...

    Which Tire?

It's true that the Diablo Corsa is a softer compound than the Diablo...but it's never been put to me that the Corsa is actually the track version. Though I have mainly used them on the track, I know plenty of guys that use them exclusively on the road and I don't think they have ever had any...

Poll: Why did you choose to ride a Hayabusa?

Mainly because of it's unique appearance...though the power and size of it was appealing as well. It was a nice combination of a bike that looked chunky, but still sporty at the same time.

All busa knees on the ground only!

Hey Twisted, did you find the tip of the end of the side stand got ground down on that side? Mine did, but I don't know anyone else who had that problem, so I'm thinking that maybe it is the way that I have my suspension set up. :super: What tyres you running?
