Yes it is. It is a grade 5 ester synthetic based oil. Grade 5 oils are the only oils that jet turbine engines use. I run Red Line in my turbo busa.

Amsoil is a good oil, so is Mobile 1. Both are grade 4 synthetics but if you really want the best go for a grade 5 like Red Line or Motul 5100, they are a little bettor...Stay away from Castrol syntec and and most other lower cost synthetics because they are not synthetic at all. How many of you fellows has laid down your turbo bike? Personally I never have, knock on wood, but I did last year go into a small curve to hot and things got tense. It's amazing how at 180mph even a small curve on the interstate feels like a big one.

Most of the time when turbo bikes are left on the rear stand the oil level is pushed way above the center shaft of the turbo and will start to seep through the journals and smoke for a little while. It usually clears up after one small boost pull.

There should be a disconnect somewhere nere the HSV. Disconnect it and let it cycle for a few seconds.
