I have a Shoei Z-II and an Arai Signet. I got the Shoei because it's quieter but I still always wear ear plugs if I'm going further than 5 miles. I hate the noise too and have now discovered listening to music. It really takes your mind off the constant noise. I'm going to put together an...
I want more wind protection for long rides on my Busa. I don't really want an FJR, well maybe just a little. Anyway, I have a ZG touring screen and it is pretty good but I'm always on the lookout for something better. I know about the Laminar lip and may try it one day. I resently saw the...
I like my all black gel seat much more than the corbin I tried. I have an 02' all black SE so the all black seat works but the black and silver probably would too.
I've got the Vertebra 2 non-air and are very happy with them. I have narrowish feet and had to add a second footbed to get comfortable. I adjusted the calf as small as it would go and still have some room there. Overall they are one of the rare peices of gear I am fully satisfied with.
I've tried the Corbin and the Gel. The Corbin was firm which was fine but it's shape wasn't quite right for me. The width was annoying. I'm happy with the gel seat which is also firmer than the stock seat and about the same shape, but I don't have any really long rides on it yet. My legs are...
It seems like the only time my batteries die is when I forget and leave the helmet unit on when I'm not on the bike. I haven't paid close attention but think I've gotten at least 4,000 miles out of a set.
I had M1's on my R1. I loved them, only got 2,700 mi. I'm now trying Diablo's on my Busa hoping for a few more miles out of a basicly similar tire. Different bike but I'm not sure I like the Diablo's quite as much after 500 mi. I'll try an M1 rear when the Diablo is gone. I'm sold on 180 rears.
I like firstgear apparel and many people find it to be very high quality.
Try http://www.motorcyclecloseouts.com/default.asp they have great prices on closeouts.
I considered previous generations of Joe Rocket gloves but they didn't have a good reputation for durability at the time.
I have the same Violators pictured above.
I have the HARD wireless thing and it works well. There have been one or two quirks. Once I forgot to turn off the helmet part which neccesitated new batteries for it. Overall it does what it says and I ride more securely knowing I'll get warning for officers who leave their radar on.
Hey,
I'd like to try raising my forks to help the bike turn quicker. Has anyone enlarged the fork holes in the top triple clamp cover so the legs could come up? I'm a little worried about weakening the bar mounts. Think it would be safe? I know I could go with reapers to get clearance but I...
