    Modding the new Pashnit Busa

Dang son...you wouldn't catch me on a road like that unless I had studs in the tires! Uuuhhh...that road looks a little icy!

    Modding the new Pashnit Busa

I might try to build a rack like that for mine. I had a set of RKA's on my 05, then used them on a couple other bikes...love them, but they aint cheap!

    Modding the new Pashnit Busa

Some interesting and inspiring mods planned for that bike. I like the rear rack and those look like RKA bags. What windscreen are you going with and are you raising the handlebars...if so, what method?

    sprocket/gearing question

By the way, for street riding I really like the 18T/40T combo. It's not as jumpy at lower RPM's and it lets you wind it out more at higher RPM's. 18T/39T sounds like a pretty good combo too!

    sprocket/gearing question

There is an excel spreadsheet out there somewhere with all the stock Busa gearing already plugged in (sorry don't have the link). It is cool to plug in the different gear combos, max power, max RPM, to see what it does to the top speed. I am running 18T/40T for LSR and I may even go 19T/40T to...

    Pair Valve Block-off Dimensions

That looks very clean...thanks for the pic. I think there was another thread that listed the size. I'm going to home depot today, so I will pick some up. By the way, the reason I'm removing the pair is that I made some shortys out of a pair of stock cans and I was getting an occaisional...

    Pair Valve Block-off Dimensions

The problem is that the bike is my daily driver and I don't want to tear it down unless I have the block off plates ready to go. I have access to materials, mills, drills, etc, so I really would like to make up a set of plates while I'm at work and slap them on over the weekend. I would like...

    Pair Valve Block-off Dimensions

Can anyone on this forum tell me the dimensions of the pair valve block off plates for a GEN1? All I need to know is center-to-center on the holes and the diameter. I have searched the entire www and I can't find the dims. I have seen all the threads that say "$20", but I want to make them...

Makes screeching squealing sound when cooling down

I just checked the seal on the gas cap and it had some residue on it (proably not making a good seal) and I cleaned it off. Also cleaned around the filler neck. I started the bike and let it warm up for about 5 min. So far after turning it off for about 10 min, no noises. Great ideas guys...
