Arizona has some really great roads to ride. Been out here 18years now, and still finding new adventures.I miss all the rides I took in Arizona when living there for 12 years
One place I haven’t visited yet. Absolutely incredible! My son and I toured thru the northern edge into SE Utah for a great ride thru Monument Valley back west

and the Moki Dugway. Very worthwhile ride!
Kitt Peak would be a fun road if it wasn’t so dirty everytime I’ve gone up there. 666 is a road on my list to run. Definitely an overnight trip for me, as it’s out on the edge of the state. We used to ride from Wilcox up 666 past alpine then come back the next day through salt river canyon, great trip, also do MT lemmon highway, road to Sonoita, and out to and up Kitt peak.........fun times back in the day for sure
Back in the day, Mt Lemmon, MY BMW k1200s, I still have it, a really nice bike for 2 up stuff for sure

Those K1200s/1300s were no slouch even with shaft drive....they competed pretty well against the Gen 1 Hayabusas....Back in the day, Mt Lemmon, MY BMW k1200s, I still have it, a really nice bike for 2 up stuff for sure

The trick back in the day for mt lemmon was to ride super early, we arrived at the bottom at around 5am, get it all done by 7:30am before cops and bicycles showed up....super fun times and wide open road up and downI lived in Tucson for a couple years of high school and we decided to drive up Mt. Lemmon as a family day trip. We made it about 2 miles up and my mom forced my dad to turn the car around because she has a fear of height and the view over the edge was too much for her. And we never went back.
The video I posted was the only time I’ve got to ride Lemmon. I left the house at 5 or 6am, but have an almost 4hr ride to get down there. Needless to say, lots of tourists and cops by the time I hit the base of the mountain. Won’t make that mistake again. It really ruined my ride…oh well. Beautiful ride though! The trick back in the day for mt lemmon was to ride super early, we arrived at the bottom at around 5am, get it all done by 7:30am before cops and bicycles showed up....super fun times and wide open road up and down
Yes even back in the day the first cop shift hit the base at around 7am, we were long gone by then, also you used to get a ton of squids trying to run it all day long, by then we were all home lol when empty it was a super fun road with perfect surface top to bottom. The video I posted was the only time I’ve got to ride Lemmon.
