When Iguanas fall from trees in Florida...

RYC1966 they dont hibernate on purpose but they do sleep by the many in the tree in my back yard. The cold puts them into hibernation.
So by sleeping in the trees when it gets cold at night they go into hibernation without knowing and fall.

No CaBusaGirl He did not seem to make it.
I left him in the sun all day. While he never got hard like something dead should he did not come around.
I put him out by the lake...up to the gods now.

Well you know.. if he is hibernating they can't just snap out of that.. it takes a slow wake.. and he probably wouldn't with just one semi warm day... so there is hope for him yet...if he doesnt become a snack first. I wouldn't give up till I saw for sure he was truly moving on to the choir eternal... pushing up the daisies...an ex-iguana ... ???
