I tried to wheelie in first by clutching it and when i did do it I heard a loud ping noise. Any info on what happened or if something is wrong would be appreciated.

Do not clutch this bike in first, it will bite you and kill itself. Pin throttle in 1st and it will come up rather quickly around 6000-7000 RPM then shift it into second. You can also roll off throttle at around the 6000 RPM range and then roll it back on quickly to do the same thing. Watch in "original" size or it will look wierd.
