That's an idea, but I don't think that's lime build-up, bro.I wonder if you soak it in viniger will it clean it up. Maybe that as seen on TV, CLR product that removes lime depostits etc. Could have it looking new again.
That stuff looked almost like shrooms, or sumptin.
Bike sat for about a year and a half. Been working on it as much as I could since October or November last year. I can't recall.
She's almost ready.

Gas tank has been treated. Whew. I think I got high off of that sealant last night. FWIW, if any of you guys use POR-15 tank sealer in the future, make sure you're in a well ventilated area.

Damn pac, no wonder the key didn,t turn it. Have you ever used the tank sealer before? Just curious.
Nope never used the sealer before. Stuff looks pretty good, though.
It says to give it 96 hours to reach max cure, but for good measure, I'm gonna add an extra 48 since I used the whole can.
I wanted to make sure that thing wouldn't even so much as THINK of rusting again.

she's almost ready. Wish I coulda done more to her, but it the wallet just can't hack it.
