Water temperature indicator failure

I have a 2000 unlimited busa and the problem is that the dash / water temperature indicator does not indicate when the bike runs , only when it does check at start-up . i've changed the dash , the radiator temp sensor , the sensor from the engine that reads water ,the CDI , the fan does not start unless it's on direct contact . i took out the electrical harness and nothing seems wrong i check every connection i cleand with a spray the conntacts and still the same problem , Sorry for my english please help

The temp sensor that monitors water temp and the thermo switch that operates the cooling fan are two separate devices. So it would appear that you have multiple failures an ECM issue or maybe low water or air in the cooling system. Best of luck with it. Download the service manual.
