im planin a trip from indianapolis to miami in a few weeks. my build # is 3481 and i havnt yet had the tensioner or the filter replaced. they havnt given me any problems whatsoever and im around 5500 miles. im not sure if i fall into the catagory of those that require the service but i dont want to find out 1k miles from home. anyone been on a very long ride yet?like 7-8 days ? id like to be prepared for any problems beforehand . the 16 tooth front sprocket is definatly coming off. maybe call schnitz about a 18. i dunno though..

I guess you know that you are in line with that # for the 108 and 109. I would have it done before you go on trip. You may not have trouble now but you are probably using the same reliable gas station all the time at home. On the road you may get soem dirty gas and now you have trouble.

Last trip I took, that's what happend..

All it takes is one bad gas station.. Pick that one ( New station ) over the old one across the street!! Should of gone to the old one..
