Smoke, the deal in matcing in that copper AE is the primer basecoat. The more grey the primer the more copper the paint looks. The more black the more orange the paint looks....(it's been awhile, I may have that backwards)

You just got to find a happy medium shade........on a color grade scale from 1 to 10 with one being standard grey primer and ten being a solid black.........you need a base coat primer about 7-7 1/2.............

Yeah that makes sense right ???
