Since 9/11 insurance rates doubled on most civil aircraft, and we all know what fuel prices have done.
Most of my time has been in Cessna's. Currently not flying, but decided in the future to purchase a paramotor(parachute with motor on the back). I live in the country, this would be fun to putt around with on good days.
My private pilots license is a good foundation for this, and Paramotor's (given that they dont have landing gear,etc,etc,etc) are NOT classified as aircraft by the FAA, which means a lot less headaches. A economical(but limited) way to get off the ground.

nope it's going to be the other way around.
thanks. our hanger is right off the runways, you can't get to much closer.
