Timing Cover Plug Oil Leak

Hey fellas,

I've got a minor oil leak from the timing cover plug. I'm talking about the big plug on the right side of the motor under the starter clutch/gear. It's the plug that takes the 10mm allen key.

I've replaced the o-ring/gasket and it seemed to work for about 25 miles, but it has began to leak again. Any suggestions for what to do to stop this leak?

It's all that horsepower I guess.

Which permatex do you recommend for this application and how and where should I apply it?  Should I just smear it around the outside after it's tighted down or should I unscrew the plub and put some on the inside?
