Yes Everyone can feel dumb when they mess up on something they should know how to do properly.
My newest one is prepping the house for water and power.. then cleaning.. to move in.
So I get the water and power on do a few things then leave for the day.. So I get a call the next morning bright and early from the city stating I have a water leak.. im like OMG WTH.. so I go turn the water off at the main and leave it so I can finish working then come back and find the leak.. 3 freaking days to find this leak... 3 DAYS!!!!!!!!!
So it turns out in my mission to get everything ready I forgot to close the drain valve on the water heater.
There are holes dug all along the side of the house, and the drain pipe is very well hidden behind a small tree and the outside AC unit.
P.S. The holes I dug had looked as if water could be coming out the way it was all moved away.. Drainage from the valley's in the roof.. DUH
Glad I didnt call the plumber.
