rod should move enough to disengage I would say 2".. if going in a car, we put a positive stop behind the pedal and lock it in place once we see where it engages and disengages..

Yes, we would go this way, when ready (within few days now , but it would be very nice if anyone have exactly the movement, just so we will not brake anything. I would guess around 8 mm, but I am not sure...

dooes it make sense that the thickness of the slave cly or a hair less is max throw of the rod? adjusting the pedal with a stop is the same thing that many drag racers use with the lever...simple and effective
