The beginning of my "busa room"

Just wanted to share a couple photos of the beginning of where my Busa will be residing.  We will be installing two 28" doors, installing two fans in the wall venting any fumes out to the garage, fluorescent lights, possibly ceiling tiles, paint the walls and floor.  Eventually I'd like to have a TV, stereo system, move my PS2 down there, a counter on the side by the window and bar stools.  Basically it'll be a small workshop for the bike/atv, and a hang-out room as well.

Sounds very cool - a "man" room, only better....

You'll never regret it, the only problem (if your like me) is just like mods on the Busa. Adding things will NEVER END

, but then you'll NEVER regrett it either. Plus you'll always have friends with extra hands on hand to help you with the mods your putting on the Busa

No real progress on the room except that the Busa and the YZ250F are residing in it.

I want to start painting the walls and doing the floor.... And have found info on Rustoleum's Epoxyshield.

http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=14

I'm trying to figure out which of the two to go with, they have a cheaper water-based setup, and an epoxy-based which I assume is better. I'm liking either the silver grey or the dark grey colors from the epoxy based kit, just need some ideas on what to do on the walls for colors. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I was thinking a two tone light and dark grey, maybe use the wall that kicks out as the divider for the two colors. And I was also thinking of getting a border, maybe the "Cars" theme, kinda cool. Or I believe a while back I found a tire-track border which would be alright.

And, I believe I need to get this concrete etch to clean the floor with first, but need to figure out if this will remove the paint that the previous owners put on the floor, they rolled it on the walls apparently cause they also put the rollers on the floor and painted a few spots.

Just went to Home Depot and picked up the Professional Epoxy kit from Rustoleum, and two different gallons of paint. Same colors as my Busa pretty much, I think the room is going to look sick! Bottom 1/2 of the walls will be black, top 1/2 will be a grey, and I need to find some sort of border to go in between the two colors.

My recommendation for the border....make it kind of a chair rail....use 2" wide by 1/8" thick aluminum strips....and finish them with scotch brite to give them that same feel as the aluminum on the swingarm.

You could use a "chair rail" as a border between the colors, I think they might be available in plastic, which is a lot cheaper than the pine, and it's already primed for painting.

The room is going to be great, by the way.
