You are missing the point. I am using it as a meaning for all that is good, cool or awesome. It could also be used as indication of superior threat but not so much.
All of those other fellas from Van Damme to McQueen just don't have the same ring to them.

My favorite Bronson movie was that one where he played a hitman and trained Jan Michael Vincent to play his protege. It's a 70's flick.
