I saw a article on cutting weight on a Hayabusa many years ago but it was expensive because of the use of carbon body panels, all steel brackets were replaced with aluminum and all bolts were replaced with titanium.I believe the bike had a projector beam head light.

Take off the rear foot pegs , handle bar ends , if you have weights on your front foot pegs take them off . you may lose 5 to 7 lb .

WOW, Thanks for all of the tips guys! I have been gone for awhile due to eye operation. Now i am back again. I am now moving to Kansas to goto school at Ft Leavenworth for a year. I will get to do some track time there cause there is a track 60 miles away. got rid of the undertail, now i am working on getting the OPP fuel tank and carbon tail section, i will shoot pics once i get them and put it on!
