Take off the cans & airbox mod??

Think Im going to take off the cans and run the midpipes in which Ill need some sort of map for the PC3R

Do the Marble Mod..
And the Air Box Mod..


On Brocks site says to only do the Airbox if you're running the Brock's system, suggestions??

Anybody wanna yell at me for doing this?

Well I will tell you this, I have the airbox mod done.
Without cans i loss gobs of tq and hp by seat of the pants dyno.
Someone on this board did dyno comparo, and it showed a big
difference with stock cans and no cans.
That rider decided the loss of performance was
not a good trade off for sound.

Yea I just wanna lose the cans, was thinking to just run it open instead of spending the money on new exhaust.

But that's what Im asking for is opinions so thank you for that info

Go with shorty slip ons.... Two Brothers has some nice slip ons & they sound great!

make your own shorty mufflers out of the stock ones and do a small box mod and have it tuned....someone on here was doing the stock cans up and they sounded good...

Me, I know your not me. But me would stay with stock and save up for full sys. 750.00

Leave the airbox alone if you are not installing a full system. The cans are not the restriction on the OEM system. My $0.02

I have them too and I love them. I might by the silencer inserts for them on long trips. They are awesome and LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!

For what you gain in sound you lose in power. Probably not worth it.
