I tracked down the guy who did the mods to my recently purchased slightly used 03. His name is Richard Sims and he lives about 20 minutes from here. He is one of the head engineers at Muzzy in Bend Oregon. He lives 3 days a week here in Nor Cal & 4 days a week in Bend. Really cool guy and has been building awesome bikes for many years. He showed us the supercharged ZRX12 that was on the cover of Feb Sportrider.

I was wondering why my bike is running soooooooo sweet, he must know what he is doin.

he also said the factories are getting so much better at putting out awesome bikes that it is getting harder to make after moarket parts that truely make a huge difference.

What mods do you have on your bike? I am truly torn between a Yoshimura and a Muzzy pipe? A reputable mechanic here told me that a full Muzzy 4-2-1 will not make any extra horsepower but the Yosh would.
