Speedlimiter on a Busa???

Hello,
I have a little problem with my busa ('99)
Yesterday I was driving and i was trying to get top-speed.
Normal 300km/h is no problem, this time, about 250 km/h, the needle stopped and i thought i lost a gear or no fuel, that was wat it was looked like. The next run same problem, till 250km/h throttle stopps, and around 200 km/h i could use the throttle again.
Can anyone help me, please,

What was your RPM at 250km/h?

I don't know, i was only watching my speed.
And there was no difference between 5th and 6th gear.

250 km. somethings up , isn't that only about 150mph?

When you shift to sixth, is it a normal shift? Specificly do you feel the gear change...you know rpm change. Maybe you are not getting to sixth at all.

Check your shift...you may not be getting it out of fifth, or you have a tranny issue.
