yep man
very good video - thanks for it
what i want to go to again is the pitting inside the slave
when ever the seal leaks one should put the slave apart and inspect the inside of the slave.
if it is used over, let me say 60 k miles or so, the slave cylinder sometimes gets an oval bulge in the working area of the seal.
if such ovality is recognizable, the slave is only scrap and has to be replaced - albeit rel. expensive, best to use a brand new one.
and like you already said in the video - this issue is more or less usual at all hydraulic clutch slaves after a bigger mileage.
to the little dirt at the clutch´s piston you showed in the video
suzuki seemingly learned a bit and at the gen2 they use a kind of mud protector at the slave
see number 22 at the following microfiche
and if someone has the issue with the busa´s slave here my little hint:
buy the entire slave from the gen2 incl. the "cap" (#22) - it fits to the gen1
and
for all perfectionists:
get this silver alu piece
to protect also the rod and its damn seal in the crankcase/transmission wall from all mud.
highly recommended for both the gen1 and the gen2
available at "
kojak´s" and his
shop in germany and yes - he delivers also to the us
