Recall

I have a 1999 that I just purchased. It had motor work done to it by a pro. Made it a 1363, not sure when or year it was done. But wondering, found out that the second recall was not done to it. The dealer said he would do it, I am going to call the guy who did the work, and see if he did anything to it? So it does not have to have the recall done. If anyone has some suggestions please share.

which recall(work needed to be done)? on my 2000, I got 2 recalls almost back to back, both on the cam chain tensioners, the first one still had problems,the 2nd one supposiblly fixed it.

Like you said call the guy that did the motor work and see what if any thing he did with the cam tensioner. If he put something better then stock in it then don't worry about it. If he left it alone, if the recall has not been done and your dealer is willing to do it. Get it done. They were failing and causing the motor to lock up.
