We went to my sons Christmas program last night and yes it is still called a Christmas program...

The event is held at the local baptist church because the sanctuary is so large and the sound system is already there to use. The kids sang Away in a manger, the first noel and silent nite. The music director welcomed everyone and even said have a merry christmas.

It was good to see that I still live in a community where Christmas can still be used and not the words happy holidays.

Good job leadership at the school......

I get discouraged also.

However I will say at my commands Christmas party last week (yes we hade it early)

It was not only still called the Christmas Party, but at the begining of dinner we all stood, bowed our heads and our operations officer prayed and gave thanks.

About 60 of us. So at least in the military we can still call it Christmas and openly pray.

Political correctness has not made it to Sale Creek. When my kids were in school (the youngest graduated last May) we always had Christmas programs :)
