thanks a lot for the warm welcome.
I live in Torino which is in the northwest of Italy, so it's pretty close to the Alps - lovely rides... and two hours from the sea. The temperature is pretty good apart from winter, which can get chilly from december till march (snow and all), but we don't get very low (the worst we get is about 2 degrees celsius. but I don't mind the cold, I use the bike all year long. Of course you have to watch out for icy roads and snow..
