Pc3 usb question ?

Just the closed throttle value.  Can it be reset on the computer with just the 9 volt battery power, or does it need to be hooked to the bike while it's running to be properly reset.   Again, just the closed throttle value.  thanks.

I have not tried that....but I would think that this is not proper.

there still has to be an input to the FI in order to keep the bike at idle.

The way I did it was...

Connect computer to PCIII

Start the bike

Make sure you are "talking" to the PCIII

Set the idle to about 1200'ish RPM (use the RPM indication coming from the PCIII, you will see it on the computer...I think it is more accurate than the guage on the bike)

Then reset the zero position on the PCIII


You should be good...
