One place for Safety Wire/tool/springclip/hose?

STT is making changes to the requirments for Intermediate Riders. They now want Safety Wire or a dab of silicone on the Oil filler cap, Oil drain plug, Oil filter, etc.

I went around this weekend and looked at some of the instructors bikes. many of them used colored hose to cover their safety wire (quick ID) and spring clips (quick release). Also, they run a hose clamp around their Oil filter and wire it (great idea).

I have been looking online for ONE place that I can get ALL this at. Sponsors? Any other suggestions?

K&N oil filters come with a nut as well as a safety wire clip. A couple bucks more but makes very sanitary setup for track guys as well as elliminates the need for a filter wrench.

not sure about the clips as I don't use them but I got my wire and twisting tool through harbor freight. Just type safety wire in search and it should pop up.

I've also used ring from key ring. The hard part is drilling the bolts. Buy lots of 1/16" drill bits.

look at aircraft hardware and tool suppliers "safety wire pliers" & safety wire, comes in .020, .032, .040
