rode a friends bike on the week end gen2 my first ride on 1 of these things
oem foot shift stock pipes, first pass got caught out with the shift pattern as my gen1 is gp shift pattern
took off in 2nd 1.80 sixty 10.23 146 mph the next pass i found 1st gear what a diff 1.65 60 & 9.77 @145+that after going sideways in the first 60 feet.&rolling off at 8000 & back on it.
in 38 degree celcius fkn hot.had a third pass ill go after it this time, instant smoke of the line sideways small wheelie at the end of first and nice wheelie going in to 2nd 9.88 would have been easy 1.5 sixty.
bike is lowered 1 inch or so.

Has the stock bike had any work done to the ECU ? Zuki really detuned these bikes. Secondaries open late and slow for example.

Thats my gen 2 wally rode and its oem bin file except for 13% fuel removed from 50 to 100% throttle from 6400 to 12400 and it still ran 12.4:1 AF at wideopen throttle. The datalogger showed that would of been a mid 9.6 if the track could hold it. 3000 feet above sea level air didnt help either

Most of the ecu restrictions are under 40% throttle. Timing retard, STP opening are all restricted and/or limited for part throttle riding but once throttle is fully open above approx 8000 everything is close to maximum. Timing and stp opening are full or close to it once this area is reach. None of those restrictions affect my bike on the strip as it changes at 11300 and drops to 8600rpm at 100% throttle :colgate:
