They're always fuggin around on the commercials, so I never really pay attenetion to them. I just know who they are and ignore everything else about it.

great...now big-brother is going to subpoena Cache for all IP traffic records posted during these threads then get our ISPs to release billing records for our address and serve warrants for every post made in this thread...so much for not stirring things up!

If you don't like the banners (or tha Avatars) you can turn them off in your Control Panel options.

They don't offend me (I'm from Europe originally) but I have them both turned off because I'm more interested in what people have to say, without all the extra scrolling.
 
I never said that I didnt like anyones avatar or sig...and i didnt see the link so i saw no porn. nor would i have wanted to see monkeys goin at it!!!

Like I said before...this wasnt a knock on Cache or Creekboy...and i hate to say this cause i am not one for punishing all for one dumb as*. But like everyone says it went overlooked, but monkeys nailin eachother stuck out like a sore thumb.

I have been around here a while and would like to comment on this subject. I am not angry at anyone, just want to clarify things a little.

To answer your inquiry about where we draw the line, this board does an excellent job of self-monitoring. We know what the rules are and we try to educate new members without ofending them. When there is a question, Cache is the judge that makes the decision. A lot of people want to look at this site like its a democracy. It isn't. There are people who own it, and can have whatever rules they want. Sure our opinions count. But we shouldn't get that twisted. Like Bentvalve said, people who don't like it can go elsewhere.

I didn't see the post or thread in question, but I know that porn is a no-no around here. Regarding someone having weed in there signature line, I say who gives a shid? You can't smell it, taste it, or feel it over the internet. I could care less. But if Cache decided it goes too far, then its out of here....just like Creekboy has the right to thorw someone out of his house if he doesn't like what they have to say. (That's the best analogy I can come up with right now).

One last point. The way this site is run has been proven over time. I wouldn't place any bets on it self destructing or anything like that. The vast majority of us like it and aren't going anywhere.

I love this board, Everyone does do a GREAT job of self monitoring...I dont care that mick has 2 pieces of chocolate in his banner smokin the cheeba.
I think from a guys stand point "porn" is looked at slightly differnent. I put them both (drugs and porn) into the same catagory that I wouldnt want my kids seeing. I know I cant control everything they do but I can damn sure try.
