so my partner Pedro borrowed $400 from Pablo. Promising money back in
3 days, Pablo has to keep the power on. Pedro's deal fell thru, and he could
only come up with $100. Pedro gives me the $100 and says "I need you to
go to a casino and turn this in $400." After some moaning and groaning,
and reminding him that he pawned some gold for $1000, to pay his mortgage.
Then lost it at a crap table, I said OK.
I worked it up to $300, and then my instincts kicked in and I went for It:
$200 nr 9 on the passline and nr 5 comebet. If I throw a 7, I fail and let
two desperate guys down. But my feelings were on, the numbers hit and
the $100 turned to $600. $400 for them, with $200 sweat fee for yours
truly. Went home and took 2 xanax's.
